Pay for our Development Director starts at $55,000 per year.
With professional enthusiasm, you will help build support for GSAK’s services to thousands of girl members and adult volunteers. The Development Director is accountable for developing and managing the council's grant process, corporate donations, campaigns, and fundraising events to ensure GSAK’s financial and operational sustainability. To successfully accomplish this process, you will also be responsible for managing the council's fund development data, developing fundraising action plans, and supervising the development specialist. The Development Director serves Girl Scouts of Alaska (GSAK) in achieving our fund development goals.
The Development Director will foster a culture of philanthropy in the organization and advance philanthropy on behalf of Girl Scouts of Alaska. They are responsible for the planning, implementation, management, and oversight of fundraising, grants, and donor relations activities. You will be building professional relationships with Alaskans of varying generational, regional, ethnic, and socio-economic perspectives.
