Pay for our Recruitment Manager starts at $55,000 per year.

The Recruitment Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and assessing comprehensive year-round recruitment strategies to increase girl and volunteer membership. They will develop and foster community partnerships while providing a consistent image of the Council’s commitment to Girl Scouts and the community at large.  The Recruitment Manager is responsible for volunteer recruitment, member identification, and growth.  They create work plans for and supervise the Outside Sales team.

    • Able to work independently with minimal oversight, effectively manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
    • Able to tackle a problem by using a logical, systematic, sequential approach.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Power Point, Word, and Excel.
    • Able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

    You Need:

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with directly related work experience managerial experience preferred. 
    • Experience in membership development, volunteer support, recruitment and/or retention preferred.
    • Experience in data management using sales/customer management software preferred.
    • Strong communication skills in written, verbal, and virtual delivery; experience developing and implementing action plans to meet/exceed deliverables; and experience working collaboratively to reach collective goals.
    • Access to reliable transportation.  You will be based at the council office and will also need to provide your own transportation to off-site locations.

    You Will:

    • Travel throughout council jurisdiction as needed.
    • Sit at a desk and work on a computer and talk on the phone for long periods of time.
    • Manually operate office equipment.
    • Lift and carry at least 35 lbs.
    • Complete an annual background check.
